A Quick Guide to the My Glue App
Your Texas Downtown membership is more than events and emails—it connects you with downtown professionals, partners, and champions across the state. The free My Glue app makes it easier to tap into that network wherever you are.
Use the app to participate in committee conversations, exchange ideas with members facing similar challenges, share downtown successes, find event information, and build meaningful connections across Texas.
1. Download the App

2. Log In or Create Your Account
Open the app and:
- Select the .com server, which is the default option.
- Log in using the email address associated with your Texas Downtown membership.
- If you have not created a My Glue account, select Register and follow the prompts.
- Once logged in, select Texas Downtown as your organization or community.
3. Complete Your Profile
Help fellow members learn who you are and how to connect with you. Add or update your:
- Name, photo, title, organization, and contact information
- Community or downtown affiliation
- Member Directory visibility and privacy preferences
- Notification preferences
- Digital business card
A complete profile makes the Texas Downtown Member Directory much more valuable for everyone.
4. Join the Conversation
Visit the Community or Groups area to connect with your Texas Downtown committees and fellow members.
Use these spaces to:
- Ask how other communities are addressing a downtown challenge
- Share a successful project, program, event, or partnership
- Request examples, resources, policies, or recommendations
- Exchange ideas about vacant buildings, business development, funding, preservation, marketing, events, placemaking, and more
- Continue conversations started during a webinar, training, or conference
- Celebrate progress—big wins and small victories both count!

5. Connect Directly with Members
Browse the Membership Directory to find people by name, organization, or community. Depending on their privacy settings, you can:
- Send a direct message
- Share your digital business card
- Save another member’s contact information
- Scan business cards
- Use your personal QR code to connect at events
- Request a meeting or follow-up conversation
6. Keep Up with Events
Use the app before, during, and after Texas Downtown events to:
- View upcoming and past registrations
- Find event times, locations, agendas, and speakers
- Access available event information and resources
- See who else is attending
- Participate in the Event Community or Live Event Wall
- Connect with attendees you would like to meet
7. Manage Your Membership
The app also gives you convenient access to:
- Your membership information
- Renewal details
- Your virtual membership card
- Texas Downtown news and email campaigns
- Available subscriptions and committees
