TK is a seasoned economic developer with nine years of success in revitalizing the Groesbeck Economic Development Corporation. Prior to her public sector work, TK was an in-house asset to start-ups and small businesses for 15 years specializing in web software, service design and product design. During much of that time, she also served in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Human Resources Specialist. In 2014, she was invited to transfer those skills to tackle the problems of job creation, sales tax base expansion and identifying opportunities for businesses to grow and invest in Groesbeck, Texas. Her approach to community development prioritizes relationships, data-informed strategy, delivering excellent customer service, and thinking beyond convention to get the job done.
