Shane has spent his career serving communities and tourism organizations across Texas, working with the Wichita Falls CVB, Visit Plano, Visit Bastrop, and most recently the Texas Travel Alliance. He has held Convention Services and Convention Sales roles within the destination marketing sector and served as the Director of Membership & Business Development for the Texas Travel Alliance, an association serving over 600 organizations across the state representing all sectors of the industry, including CVBs and DMOs, Accommodations, Attractions, Theme Parks & Water Parks, Zoos, Aquariums, Airlines, Airports, Travel Media, and many more. Now in his role of Business Development Officer for Business & Community Lenders of Texas, Shane works to build strong communities through community development and economic empowerment services including access to lending capital, financial empowerment training, and entrepreneurship coaching.
