Kim is the Downtown & Tourism Director for the City of Georgetown. She has led the award-winning Georgetown Main Street Program for 7 years and absolutely loves the community she serves. Over the last 14 years, she has worked in Economic Development, Tourism, Arts & Culture, and Special Events. Her broad experience in multiple service areas has helped shape her style of community-building in some of the fastest-growing communities in the country. Kim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Kim is a graduate of the Texas Women’s Leadership Institute and TTIA Travel & Tourism College and is a Certified Tourism Executive (CTE). In her spare time, she loves to travel to new places and experience all the world has to offer. She is also serving as co-chair for the Membership Committee.
